Programs

Our programs are how we serve our community, whether that is through swim classes, placing safety equipment, or partnering with schools and community centers. If you have a program idea that would serve our mission we would love to hear about it.

We are currently working to establish specific programs to directly impact our communities. As we make progress towards our vision we will be posting updates on this page. In the meantime, please consider donating to our mission or reaching out to see how you can get involved. We cannot do this alone and are so grateful for everyone who is able to help us work towards our goal of safer waters.

Our Program Goals

  • Safety Equipment

    In our first year we hope to place life preservers at 10 public locations. These may be lakes, ponds, rivers or streams. If you know of a location that may benefit from drowning preventing equipment, please reach out to us. If you would like to help us reach this goal please look into signing up for our advocate membership to sponsor a life preserver.

  • Community Partenerships

    In our first 2 years we hope to solidify a partnership with at least one public pool location to offer or support adaptive swim lessons. We know that these programs are limited and can be gated by high costs. We want to be able to partner with swim instructors in community centers in order to make these classes more accessible.

  • Direct Impact

    Within our first 5 years we hope to be able to have a direct impact with 20 individuals on the autism spectrum. This may be through creating a swim program, performing a swim assessment, or funding adaptive swim lessons.
